Why Shwanky Exists

In 2026, I started Shwanky because I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I'm a nerd! I love Magic: The Gathering, games, sci-fi, fantasy... But I didn't want to walk around in a shirt that I was embarrassed to wear. I wanted to show off the things I love without sacrificing how I looked doing it.

Years ago I used to go to a now closed local game store, and there were many smells that I could go the rest of my life without. There were also two guys named Devon. One we just called, well, Devon. The other, we called Hot Devon. Hot Devon wouldn't be caught dead in anything that wasn't stylish. But he played HELLA Magic with us! A nerd who showed up, but didn't want to look terrible.

So I built Shwanky.

Shwanky is for the people who know what WUBRG means! But it's also for people who care about clean style. For the ones who've been playing Commander for ten years but wouldn't be caught dead in a gross, torn, outdated, nasty ass shirt!
